Hello! I’m Dr. Ahalya Kumar, a dentist who grew up in the beautiful suburb of Mt Eden, Auckland. My passion for dentistry took me halfway across the world to Bangalore, India, where I completed my BDS. After finishing my studies, I returned home to New Zealand to pursue my dream career.I successfully cleared the Australian Dental Council (ADC) exam and registered as a dentist in New Zealand. Today, I am privileged to serve the same community where I grew up—right here in Mt Eden.This workshop is my way of giving back by sharing the insights, experiences, and lessons I’ve learned along the way. I hope it inspires and empowers others who dream of building a career in dentistry across borders.
